About the Institution:
E.S Arts and Science
College is a co-educational institution started in the academic year 2016-17
currently affiliated to Annamalai University, Chidambaram. The objective of the
college to emerge as an Institution of Excellence by providing quality
education to the rural poor and the first generation learners of the region to
empower them and to make our nation socially and economically strong among the World
Nations. The premier Institution is the only college located within the
Villupuram Municipality limit. The College
was started functioning from 4th July 2016 with five under graduate degree
courses B.A (English), B.Com (General), B.Sc. (Physics), B.Sc. (Mathematics),
and B.Sc. (Computer Science) with 157 students. Within a period of six years,
the college has grown to offer 14 under Graduate Courses and 1 Post Graduate
Courses. The lush green eco-friendly
campus and serene atmosphere at ESASC helps the students to ascertain their
potential and accord to the human race and the development of our nation.

Department of Computer
Science was established in the year 2016.
It offers B.Sc. Computer Science and B.Sc. Artificial Intelligence – 3
years Undergraduate programme. Department
offers the recent IT related courses as Value added course and Certification
Course. In addition to the curriculum,
the students are encouraged to undergo MooC courses offered via SWAYAM – NPTEL,
Coursera, Edx, Udemy. From the first
year onwards, placement training is provided to students by conducting Soft
Skills, Aptitude classes and Mock Interviews.
Department has qualified and experienced faculty members to enrich the
students with good programming and analytical skills. The department strives hard and orients the
students to place in reputed IT companies.
